FABRICATION.

Our fabrication shop can tackle all fabrication work related to steam restoration. From Belly tanks and tenders to pressings for front axle perches our skilled workforce can cater for all avenues of fabrication.

Again, traditional hot riveting is also used for fabrication of things such as gear guards, front and rear wheel repairs and banding ready for tyres. Wheels have been a large topic of repair for us of recent times with spoke and T-Rings being restored to former glory.

With powered rolls we are also able to produce tapered chimneys both lapped and butt seamed, (again riveted in the traditional manor) along with smoke box’s, boiler lagging sheets all made in house to a high standard.
